Today, the International Cricket Council confirmed the t20 world cup venue and schedule with the sides that have qualified directly for the ICC T20 World Cup 2020. Once again, Australia has the privilege to host this mega event and the final will be played at the historical Melbourn Cricket Ground (MCG).

Australia will begin their Women’s T20 World Cup title defense against India next year in a tournament the International Cricket Council (ICC) is hoping to conclude with a record attendance for a women’s sporting event. Smith is still yet to preclude being fit to take part in the Indian Premier League when his ball-altering suspension finishes on March 29.

Craig stated: "The expectation is that he will play in the IPL and after that the World Cup and afterward the Ashes."
